Ron S. Macaluso

RON S. MACALUSO was born in Hammond, Louisiana, in 1948 and has resided there his entire life. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1973.

As a dedicated trial and litigation lawyer, Ron has amassed over 50 years of experience in courtroom proceedings, including judge and jury trials across various judicial district courts of appeal in Louisiana, the Louisiana Supreme Court, multiple Louisiana Federal District Courts, and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Ron’s litigation practice has historically included representing many of Louisiana’s automobile insurance companies. Currently, he focuses on providing legal assistance to individual clients, local businesses, and families in need of professional, experienced legal support.

Ron has been married to Pat Bogel Macaluso for over 50 years. Together, they have four adult children and are blessed with eight grandchildren.

Throughout his personal and professional life, Ron has been honored to contribute to his community, profession, and education in several significant ways:

• Served on the North Oaks Hospital Board of Commissioners for 12 years, including four years as Chairman, ending in 2024.
• Past President of the 21st Judicial District Court Bar Association.
• Served on the Judiciary Commission of Louisiana as Vice-Chairman and Chairman.
• Past President of the Florida Parish Inns of Court.
• Former City Attorney of Hammond, Louisiana.
• Former Assistant District Attorney for the 21st Judicial District Court.
• Past Lay Director at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond, Louisiana.
