
BRIGADIER GENERAL KENNETH L. ROSS USAF/ANG (Ret.)
Brigadier General Kenneth L. Ross retired April 4, 1998 from the Headquarters of the Louisiana Air National Guard. General Ross, during his tour of duty at the headquarters, served in the positions of Director of Air Operations, Commander, Assistant Adjutant General (AIR), and Chief of Staff of the Louisiana Air National Guard.
General Ross began his military career in May 1969 as an Air Operations Specialist in the Louisiana Air National Guard. He received his commission in March 1970 as a Pilot Trainee. Throughout his career in the Louisiana Air National Guard, General Ross served as Tactical Fighter Pilot, Operations and Plans Officer, Chief of Plans, Director of Air Operations, Commander, Assistant Adjutant General (Air), and Chief of Staff.
General Ross is married to the former Linda Cooper Mayes of Hammond, Louisiana. They have four children, Ron, Ashley, Megan and Dixie. The Ross' reside in Hammond.

His civic affiliations include the National Guard Association of the United States, The American Legion ,Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, and the Louisiana Bar Association. General Ross is also an officer or board member of numerous church and civil organizations.
