Douglas C. Driggers

Douglas C. Driggers - Douglas C. DriggersDouglas Driggers, before realizing a life-long ambition to become a CPA/Attorney, held increasingly responsible positions in industry and banking, after spending several years in public accounting and real estate consulting. His assignments included audits of financial institutions, hospitals, and governmental entities, property tax appraisals for regulated public utilities, accounting and financial planning for multistate timber operations, carrying out a highly successful new branch bank start-up, and all types of tax matters.

After becoming an attorney, his assignments have included real estate mortgage fraud litigation and foreclosures, industrial product warranty litigation, forensic legal/accounting investigations and reporting, insurance and insurance securities regulatory law and compliance, as well as estate planning, probate, and successions. He has served as a litigation consultant in white collar criminal cases involving alleged tax, insurance, securities, and income tax fraud.

Douglas relishes in assignments that require the skills of both an attorney and an accountant, and does not back off from assignments involving the numerical analysis shunned by most attorneys and the legal analysis not of interest to most accountants. For that purpose, he maintains his CPA license and studies complex financial analysis and mathematics in his spare time.

He is a member of the Louisiana and Mississippi State Bar Associations, the Greater Covington and 21st Judicial District Bar Associations, and is a former member of the 22nd Judicial District Inns of Court.
