Amy Lawler Gonzales - Amy Lawler GonzalesAMY LAWLER GONZALES was born and raised on the Mexican border in Brownsville, Texas. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies in 1996 form Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Amy received her Juris Doctor in 2000 from Loyola University-New Orleans School of Law. She is admitted to practice in state courts in Louisiana and Texas, as well as a number of federal court in Louisiana and Texas. She is married, with one young son.

After practicing in New Orleans for a brief period after law school, Amy returned to South Texas where she was employed by a prominent civil defense firm; her practice concentrated on the defense of governmental entities and general insurance defense. After working briefly for a worker's compensation defense firm, Amy joined Seale & Ross in 2007. Her area of practice focuses on litigation on behalf of area-based businesses, as well as representation of various local government entities.

Amy is a member of the Louisiana Young Lawyers Section and the Texas Young Lawyer Association. She and her husband enjoy traveling and restoring their old cypress farmhouse in Livingston Parish.
