Ambrose Ramsey IIIAmbrose K. Ramsey III was born and reared in Baton Rouge, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School. He obtained a BS in Criminal Justice from Abilene Christian University, and then returned to Baton Rouge and completed his Juris Doctorate from the LSU Law School in 1982. He has worked as a litigation attorney in law firms in Baton Rouge and New Orleans before joining Seale & Ross in June, 2011.

Ambrose has represented hospitals, physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers in professional liability cases. He has also represented schools and businesses in general liability, automobile, workers compensation and wrongful death cases. He has tried bench trials and jury trials all across South Louisiana, and practiced before the various Appellate Courts, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the US 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. He has also mediated many claims over the years.

Ambrose has been married to Renee Whittington since 1983, and they have one son, Ambrose IV. They have lived in Mandeville since 1991. The family attends the Tammany Oaks Church of Christ, where Ambrose serves as one of the leaders in the congregation. In his spare time, Ambrose plays golf, and counts among his greatest golfing memories rounds played at Pebble Beach and the Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland.
